A Couple of Ideas I’ve Had [March 31, 2020: Look for updated  information herein.] I got the idea a while ago to put the stories I wrote and published here and on my blog, Barbarian Writer into a collection to publish on Amazon. Most of these were for a challenge called #BlogBattle which, for the …

New Published Novel

New Published Novel

I am happy- proud, even- to announce that my novel “Hell’s Beginning” has finally been published for everyone to enjoy! Well, maybe not everyone. As it has adult language and situations, as well as nudity, violence, torture, and dismemberment, this book is not for the faint of heart or easily offended. That’s your fair warning. …

Alone- A Sci-Fi Poem

Alone- A Sci-Fi Poem

Way back in 2011, I wrote a Science Fiction poem I called “Alone.” I also incorporated it into a short story called “All Alone,” which still needs some work. I will share the poem, though, as I would like some feedback on it, to see how the general public (as related to visitors) like or …

All the stories are set in Voramis, in the city where Blade of the Destroyer takes place. However, you can still enjoy …

5th Word Of The Day

Fifth Word Of The Day Challenge So, I guess I’m not doing too poorly with making regular posts. Well, somewhat regular. ReBlog: #amwriting: Too Many Characters?

While going through my weekly updates for blogs I’m following, I came across this article by Connie J. Jasperson  #amwriting: Too Many Characters? I’ll post an excerpt, but to get the full explanation, you must go to her website. She explains it much better than I could. You’re writing the first draft of your novel.  …

New Home Chore

A New Chore I’m taking a temporary break from the Word Of The Day Challenge I started. I’ve been assigned a task; the making of a monthly meal planner, to feed me, my older brother, and our mother. They both have a small to regular appetite, while I double it, or play the “clean up …

The Barbarian versus The Nomads

The Barbarian versus The Nomads

Here is another excerpt from my WIP The Barbarian. In this section, the Barbarian, who is still unnamed, has just returned from scouting with his trainer. The main Shandan Nomad (Shandan is the desert they are in charge of ruling with tyrant abandon, if you will) is resting, as is his second-in-command, and the one …

Bio

I am a fiction writer;

A creator of larger-than-life heroes of ages gone by;
Great wizards tainted, and those who resist them;

War between interstellar travelers, both on this planet and far away;
Alien races intent on the annihilation of any being not their own,
and weaker ones in need of a savior- as well as the One who becomes their savior.

Clashes with bad people and dangerous places, where only one can survive.

When you get to my writing, sit back, hold on, and enjoy the ride!
