Greetings! My name is John T. M. Herres. (pronounced HEHR-ease)

I offer here some of my writings, mainly tales not concerning The Barbarian or Challenge Of The Velah.

In my stories, I try my best to give an interesting tale, with vivid descriptions of the characters as well as plenty of action. I am always looking for people to read and comment on my works, for without readers my writings would go nowhere.

If you see something which doesn’t fit, confuses you, or is just plain redundant, leave me a note, send me an email, or use one of the other contact methods attached below. You would be helping me out in more than one way. With a simple response, you can relay appreciation, which in turn will inspire me.

As I grow as an Author, I will adapt to the expectations of the masses. Well, I’ll at least continue to entertain you. Always bear in mind that writers will listen to the readers, as long as one does not resort to insults or trying to get a story they would have written.

So, read on and comment, comment, comment. I give you my word that I will respond, even if just a “Thank You!”

[Unfortunately, I had to disable the comment sections on all my posts and pages due to an overwhelming influx of SPAM. My apologies for any inconvenience.]

Thanks for visiting!

I’ll try to say, at the end of a post;

— John

What kind of stories would you like to see me try to write, bearing in mind the styles presented herein? Maybe you could think of a prompt, something to challenge not just me, but any who care to visit and give it a shot.

I occasionally participate in a challenge called #BlogBattles. Fellow blogger Rachael Ritchey runs it, and you can get more information by clicking the link to take you to her site.

I am a fiction writer;

A creator of larger-than-life heroes of ages gone by;
Great wizards tainted, and those who resist them;

War between interstellar travelers, both on this planet and far away;
Alien races intent on the annihilation of any being not their own,
and weaker ones in need of a savior- as well as the One who becomes their savior.

Clashes with bad people and dangerous places, where only one can survive.

When you get to my writing, sit back, hold on, and enjoy the ride!
